Fields or areas of research Experimental Particle Physics , Instrumentation in detectors

I obtained my degree in particle physics at the University of Santiago de Compostela and my PhD at the University of Valencia in 2011. After a decade performing research at the University of Bonn (Germany) as junior research group leader, and several stays at CERN (Geneva) and KEK (Tokyo), I came back to Valencia as GenT distinguished researcher in 2019. I'm deputy technical coordinator of the Belle II experiment in Japan and Belle II group leader at Institute of Particle Physics (IFIC, CSIC-UVEG) in Valencia. Currently I'm involved in the development of high precission silicon pixel detectors using CMOS technologies for the future collider experiments in particle physics.
