Fields or areas of research Astroparticle Physics

I am an experimental physicist working in the field of Astroparticle Physics. I am interested in studying the most energetic phenomena in the Universe through the observation of cosmic messengers like neutrinos, gamma rays and cosmic rays.

I obtained my Physics degree from University of Valencia (UV) in 2003 and then in 2010 my PhD with the title "Time Calibration and Point Source Analysis with the ANTARES Neutrino Telescope", for which I received the Award for outstanding thesis (Premi Extraordinari de Doctorat) from UV in 2012.
In 2011 started my first Postdoctoral fellowship at Colorado State University (CSU) where I worked for the Pierre Auger (cosmic ray) and HAWC (gamma ray) Observatories.
In 2013 I moved to The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) with a Research Associate position where I kept working on the same projects (Pierre Auger & HAWC).
In 2015 I moved to the Institute of Nuclear Physics (IFJ-PAN) in Krakow with a Postdoctoral fellowship and then in 2017 an "adiunkt" position. There I worked most of my time for the HAWC Observatory.
In 2019 I got a CIDEGENT grant (Generalitat Valenciana) to work on the project "Search for the sources of high-energy cosmic rays with the KM3NeT neutrino telescope in the era of Multi-messenger astronomy". I am currently involved in the ANTARES and KM3NeT neutrinos telescope and I am still an active member of the HAWC collaboration.

Among the important roles I had during my career, I was the IFJ-PAN institution representative in HAWC. I am currently the astrophysics coordinator and member of the steering committee of ANTARES.
