Fields or areas of research Astroparticle Physics

Born in Madrid, after living in Alcalá de Henares and Salamanca, arrived to Valencia in 2001, where completed his studies in a BSc in Physics in Valencia University and in continuation performed a MSci in Advanced Physics and the PhD in Physics in Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC, Valencia) with the ANTARES neutrino telescope.

During its PhD, he developed calibration techniques of capital importance for the correct operating of ANTARES and searched for cosmic neutrino sources in correlation with variable gamma and X rays emissions from Galactic and extra-Galactic sources which are cosmic ray source candidates.

After his PhD in 2015, chained several postdoc fellowships and contracts at INFN (Italy) where he participated in the KM3NeT neutrino telescope construction (still on-going) and contributed to develop calibration techniques, integration of detector components and responsible of quality assessment in Bari site (Italy) while having coordinator roles in analyses and calibration in both ANTARES and KM3NeT.

Now is coming back to IFIC in 2012 with a CIDEGENT to contribute to the KM3NeT completion and to the analyses that would confirm the first cosmic neutrino sources.
