Fields or areas of research Theoretical astroparticle physics

I am a theoretical astroparticle physicist. My research activity focuses on searches for physics beyond the Standard Model, especially on neutrino and dark matter phenomenology.

I was born and raised in Savona, Italy. I got my Physics Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Torino (Italy), completed with full marks in 2008 and 2010, respectively. I first moved to Spain in 2010, when I joined the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC) in Valencia as an Early Stage Researcher (ESR), within the European Marie Curie "UNILHC" network. I got my PhD from the University of Valencia in co-tutorship with the University of Torino in December 2013, awarded with the highest distinction. Right afterwards, I was granted with a senior ESR contract by CNRS within the European Marie Curie "INVISIBLES" network. I spent the corresponding two years (2013-2015, equivalent to a postdoctoral appointment) at the Laboratoire de Physique de Clermont-Ferrand, France. Then I spent one year as a postdoc at the Instituto de Física Teórica UAM/CSIC in Madrid.

In 2017 I joined the Astroparticle and High Energy Physics group at IFIC UV/CSIC back in Valencia as a postdoctoral researcher, first with a contract from the Severo Ochoa programme, then as a Juan de la Cierva-Incorporación fellow and since July 2020 with a SEJI grant ("Subvenciones a la excelencia científica de juniors investigadores"), funded by the Generalitat Valenciana.

My scientific career is further strengthened by several long-term stays at leading research centres such as Harvard (USA, 2015), Fermilab (USA, 2018 and 2019), Universidad Técnica Federico Santamaría (Chile, 2017 and 2018).

An updated list of all my scientific publications, can be found on the INSPIRE database: https://inspirehep.net/authors/1078378?ui-citation-summary=true.
